Hibiscus Dance

Artwork commissioned by the City of Palmetto Bay, Florida to commemorate its 5th anniversary.

The painting, set against a backdrop of Palmetto Bay photographs, shows the unfurling of the Hibiscus flower's petals from bud to full grown flower. The photos show the village's signs, parks, flora, fauna, its residents and public transportation. It is a time capsule in terms of where the village was at the end of 5 years.
